25.4 Striking Differences in Irrelevant Features

The fewer relevant features present in a new stimulus, the less likely the response is to be emitted in the presence of that novel stimulus. Likewise, striking differences in irrelevant stimulus features, even if several relevant features are present, will result in the probability of the response being quite low.
