Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of manual sign mand training combined with prompt delay and vocal prompting on the production of vocal responses in nonvocal children with developmental disabilities. A multiple baseline design across participants verified the effectiveness of this intervention. All participants showed increases in vocal responses following the implementation of the independent variables.

Easy to read and follow the study
Excellent and relevant study
short but sweet. It gives interesting insight into the combination of signing and verbal responses that show promise and replicability
This was a brief and helpful article discussing how to increase vocal responses. I will be able to implement these techniques in the future.
I have had the privilege of listening to Dr. Carbone present the results of this study at a conference. I can also confirm that I have success applying the described strategy.
