How long will I have access to a CEU module?

Your access to a module does not expire or have a time limit. Generally, modules will remain available for as long as you keep your CEUniverse account. For example, you could purchase a CEU module today, but not complete it until 5 years later. The completion date on your certificate of completion will be based on when you actually complete the module (and not your purchase date). On rare occasions we may need to remove a module if it becomes outdated or if there are licensing issues. In such cases, we will notify you of the change in advance.

What kind of proof of completion will I receive?

You will be able to download a certificate of completion immediately upon completion of a module. You can also download a CEU transcript from the myLearning dashboard that documents all of the CEU modules you have completed on CEUniverse.

How do I access the CEU modules I’ve purchased?

Any learning modules you purchase can be accessed from the myLearning dashboard .

Can I repeat a module for CEUs?

No (at least not for recertification purposes). Although you are certainly welcome to repeat a CEU module you have already completed on CEUniverse, it cannot count toward recertification twice because it does not serve the goal of expanding your knowledge or skills.

Can I get a refund if I don't like a module?

Yes, we issue refunds for our modules within 30 days of the original purchase of the product. You are eligible for full reimbursement only if you have not completed the module. Please contact us for assistance if you experience any issues accessing or using our modules.

Is CEUniverse approved to offer CEUs?

Yes! CEUniverse has been approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board® to offer continuing education for BCBAs and BCaBAs since 2010 (#OP-10-2021). From 2010 to 2023 were we approved under the name of our parent company, FoxyLearning. You may also be able to use our modules for other purposes or credentialing agencies by asking them. We are happy to work with you to produce a custom certificate of completion if you need it.

Abstract

Of the diagnostic features of autism, relatively little research has been devoted to restricted and repetitive behavior, particularly topographically complex forms of restricted and repetitive behavior such as rigidity in routines or compulsive-like behavior (e.g., arranging objects in patterns or rows). Like vocal or motor stereotypy, topographically complex forms of restricted and repetitive behavior may be associated with negative outcomes such as interference with skill acquisition, negative social consequences, and severe problem behavior associated with interruption of restricted and repetitive behavior. In the present study, we extended functional analysis methodology to the assessment and treatment of arranging and ordering for 3 individuals with an autism spectrum disorder. For all 3 participants, arranging and ordering was found to be maintained by automatic reinforcement, and treatments based on function reduced arranging and ordering.

I really don't like how a singular error causes your score to be reduced by 2 points. During most quizes it doesn't make a difference because you have to retake the quiz even if you get one wrong, but getting your score reduced by '2' when you only got 1 question incorrect. What it "appears" to be doing is reducing the score by '1' for selecting the incorrect answer and additionally reducing your score by '1' for not selecting the correct answer. Might just be a technology adjustment?

That is not how our quiz scoring works. Some questions, however, have multiple correct answers ("check all that apply" type questions) and are worth multiple points. Thus, on those questions you can have your score reduced by 2 or more points if you do not select 2 or more of the possible correct answers (i.e., your score is not reduced by multiple points for making a "singular error" -- it is reduced by multiple points for making multiple errors).
