Upon meeting the behavior analyst assigned to her class, Ms. Sullivan informed them that they had tried timeout with him and it didn’t work, so the assistance of a behavior specialist wasn’t needed. The teacher, instead, attributed his behavior to oppositional defiant disorder and having an inherent disrespect for authority.
