Training the Parent Trainer

The transfer of ABA therapy methods to the home environment is crucial, as most clients spend the majority of their time there after therapy. Challenges include equipping parents with a behavioral repertoire and addressing barriers such as competing contingencies and lack of understanding or discomfort. This workshop from the 2019 Michigan Autism Conference aims to provide tools for BCBA professionals to navigate these challenges and ensure successful parent training experiences.
