Return Coverage Policy for Group Licenses

Effective Date: July 8, 2025
Applies To: All bulk purchases of group license enrollment codes made by college bookstores.


📅 Return Eligibility

  • Only unused and unactivated enrollment codes are eligible for return.
  • Returns must be requested within 60 days after the end of the academic term (semester or quarter) in which the codes were purchased and intended for use.
  • The academic term is defined by the college’s official calendar.

📦 Return Coverage Limits

  • Up to 20% of the original order quantity (or dollar value) may be returned per term.
  • Additional returns beyond the 20% threshold may be considered on a case-by-case basis with prior written approval.
  • Returns are not accepted after the 60-day post-term window.

Conditions for Acceptance

  • Codes must not have been activated or redeemed.
  • All returned codes must be verifiable and accompanied by:
    • Original invoice or purchase reference
    • List of code serial numbers
    • Term for which they were purchased

💳 Refund Process

  • Approved returns will be refunded via:
    • Credit memo applicable to future orders, OR
    • Direct refund (as per agreed terms)
  • Processing time: 10–15 business days from return approval.

🚫 Exclusions

  • Activated, tampered, or expired codes are not eligible for return.
  • Custom digital bundles or institution-specific packages may not qualify unless otherwise specified in writing.
  • Requests submitted after the 60-day post-term period will not be accepted.
