3.15 Research Productivity
Additionally, all disciplines are experiencing a burst of research productivity. For example, there are an average of 50 new articles published just in applied behavior analysis every month. In the bucket metaphor, researchers are adding a lot of water to each of the different bucket colors. This means that the number of articles relevant to the work you do is growing larger over time. It also means that the number and diversity of the databases where those articles are stored is also growing larger.
