1.20 Basic Effect
In this training, you will learn how to compare one contrast between baseline and treatment, shown by this red box. You will learn how to identify whether the data changed from one phase to the next, which is called a basic effect.
However, this one contrast is NOT an experimental design. It IS a building block, and it’s important to master this before you start evaluating more complex experimental designs. But you can’t tell for sure that the intervention caused the change in behavior without replicating it.
