3.19 Google Scholar
Plus! There isn’t one interface to help you search all of the different databases (like the one at the university). The exception is Google Scholar:
- Google Scholar can search the records in each of these databases. In the filing cabinet metaphor, Google Scholar can search the file folders that are in the filing cabinet.
- Google Scholar can not give you access to the articles that are stored in the database. That is, Google Scholar can not always open the file folder and let you read what is inside. We will get into how to use Google Scholar to your advantage a little bit later in the tutorial.
