2.14 Information Pulling

Information pulling is when professionals go to the discipline for answers to specific clinical, ethical, or professional questions. Here are a few information pulling resources in behavior analysis:

  • University library (if you have access)
  • Friend or relatives’ university library sign-in credentials (not recommended)
  • Google
  • Google Scholar
  • Colleagues
  • BACB research resource
  • Finding a webinar, social media post, or research presentation that meets your current need

The current research suggests many professional behavior analysts aren’t satisfied with the research pulling resources in behavior analysis AND they aren’t confident in their abilities to use them effectively.
